Some links on FLYCHEAP.MY are affiliate links. If you click one and make a booking, we may earn a commission from the booking provider. This never changes the price you pay, and it is how we keep the archive free to read.
What an affiliate link is. When you press a booking button, you first pass through an internal address on this site (it starts with /go/) which records that a click happened here, then sends you on to the provider. Where a provider has approved us as a partner, the address you arrive at carries a partner code so the provider knows the booking came from FLYCHEAP.MY.
What it is not. Our fare intelligence is editorial. The cheapest-month, booking-window and seasonality figures are historical estimates and are chosen without regard to which provider pays what. Provider order is decided by relevance to the route and category, not by commission.
Data we keep. Outbound clicks are recorded with the provider, destination, category, the place on the site you clicked from, and an anonymous session identifier stored in a first-party cookie for 30 days. We do not store your name, e-mail, IP address or booking details. Campaign parameters (utm_*) from links that brought you here may be kept for the same period.
Providers we work with, or intend to. AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines, Trip.com, Traveloka, Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia, Klook, Airalo, 12Go, Skyscanner, Travelpayouts. Not every provider has approved a partnership yet; until they do, links to them are ordinary links with no tracking code.
